My dorm is this
home far away from home. It gives me this amazing feel, like the
first time I stepped into my first man cave. As I walk into my dorm I
can feel the rush of oddly mixed air hitting my face. I can possibly
smell the aroma of the domino's cheesy bread that I ordered the night
before and the smell of the girls shampoo and perfume that sometimes
clutters the room in a pleasant way. My computer that keeps me
updated on everything sits on my desk collecting dust and missing the
right arrow key. My printer sits to the right of it, collecting even
more dust, because of its white color. The desk has the movie Bruno
on it with some cologne as well. It also has an air freshener sitting
on it to keep the room smelling like a beautiful garden with
butterflies fluttering around. Next to my desk, me and my roommate
have our refrigerator and microwave that smells like Gatorade and
freshly popped popcorn. The buttery aroma just flies right out of the
microwave every time anybody even opens it. Than in the middle of the
floor as you walk into our little piece of heaven, we have speakers
to bump music. They have a gloomy orange color that fits the room
perfectly, giving the image that we love to party. Than on top of our
dressers we have a TV and two speakers, with our Xbox One. The
posters on our walls consist of Daft Punk to Eminem and we also have
some of our favorite entertainment posters on our walls. The colors
of the posters range from bright blue, to dark red and there's
certain beauty to the different colors of the posters that enjoy
immensely every time I walk into my room. My bed is the first thing I
look at every time I come into the room. With its green and blue
sheets that bring joy to my face every time I see it. I raised my
bed, so its high off the ground and every step I take, I need a much
needed head start to get on the bed. I get under the fluffy covers
and enjoy a must needed rest, while the nice cool air blows on to the
sheets. I can hear the people walking right outside our window,
hearing peoples different conversations and what their thoughts are
on each other or just other people in general. When I wake up in the
morning I have my much needed alarm clock that wakes me up every
morning. It's this kind of joy, waking up every morning hearing the
birds wiz past our door and the crickets at night that make my dorm a
place where I can relax. Than in the morning I put on my clothes
usually have a bunch of clothing put out to decide what I'm gonna
wear. I usually just put on a t-shirt and shorts during the summer. I
have 8 pairs of shoes lined up and I wear only two pairs during the
summer. During the winter I have my Tim's that take good care in the
snow. The permeating aroma in my room, to the TV that lights up my
room whenever I come in, my dorm room is one of my favorite places.
